Celebrating International Women’s Day in High Point

March 8, 2019

Today is a day to celebrate… It’s International Women’s Day! International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Here at High Point Discovered, we are a team of working women. We’re so thankful to be surrounded by strong, creative, brilliant minds who successfully manage marriage, relationships, friendships, motherhood, and business.  #YGG

And when we look around High Point, we see so many other women doing the same.  As a community, we are loaded with these brilliant ladies.  Let’s take a stroll down memory lane, shall we?  Take a look at some of the amazing #bossladies we have featured over the last year on High Point Discovered.

We’re thankful we get to acknowledge business women in High Point who make our community brighter and better with their contributions. Consider this our official Thank You and shout out, you know who you are!  There are so many of you it’s hard to capture each of you, but know you are loved, appreciated and recognized.

One of the founding reasons for launching High Point Discovered was to give us a platform to shout from the rooftops about the Ah-Maz-Ing women (and business owners) in High Point.  You can read about some of those women who run everything from boutiques to book shops to studios, cafes to studios, and so much more under our Voices Discovered section.

But most of all, we want to hear from you, you amazing woman, you! What does a typical day in your life look like with business, family, and more? Please share your story (or one of an #amazingwoman you know) with us on our Facebook or Instagram pages. We would love to know who we need to feature next!

We’re so thankful for the ways you contribute to the high points of our community, and we’re here to tell you: Girl, you got this!
