HP Rocker’s Stadium Hosts Rockin’ Concert

February 25, 2020

Who said the BB&T Point stadium was just for baseball games? Not us! And we’re so excited to announce that the High Point Market Authority will be hosting a concert with Fitz and the Tantrums for the whole community at the stadium on April 24!

While market attendees will have spots held through their Market passes, this event is open to all members of the High Point community for free! That’s right – just for being a High Point citizen you get prime access to this concert.

The event, held in partnership and supported by, so many High Point entities like the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau, Business High Point Chamber of Commerce, Forward High Point, High Point Rockers, and High Point University, is one of the ways our city is creating events to engage our whole community.

Dudley Moore, Jr., chairman of the High Point Market Authority’s board of directors, said that the event will give our local community the chance to celebrate their place in hosting the High Point Market, in such a special way.

There’s no place like High Point anywhere in the world,” Moore says, “and we’re thankful for the warm welcome Market guests receive from our local community every time they come.”

Our own founder, Christi Barbour, is chair of the curated entertainment task force at HPMA and had a hand in bringing Fitz and the Tantrums to High Point.

“We are excited about the opportunity to create a fun, engaging, and memorable event that taps into the transformation of High Point for both our Market visitors and the High Point community to enjoy,” Christi said.

Ever since its inception, BB&T Point had a vision to host all kinds of events for the community – from fundraising nights to concerts from Billboard topping artists. And April 24 will just be the start of many more BB&T Point events to come! We hope to see you there, getting your groove on and jamming out to Fitz and the Tantrums with us!

Find out more about this event and reserve your tickets at http://concert.highpointmarket.org/. Ticket reservations open on February 25, at 9 AM and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure you’ve got this concert on your calendar!
