Four Ways to Caffeinate in the Furniture Capital

The Furniture Market is finally here! You’ve prepared for the last six months, excited to arrive in High Point and discover all the new trends in the furniture industry. There are speakers and celebrities you want to meet, showrooms you want to see, pieces you want to buy, and oh-so much to do!

But then the wall hits.

It’s another early morning to make it to Market before the crowd hits. And maybe you’re still jet lagged. Or maybe you just stayed out too late with colleagues enjoying some of the restaurants or bars High Point has to offer. Either way, we know the solution: caffeine! And lucky for you, High Point has some of the best places to get your caffeine fix (we do it all the time!). We’ve got four of our favorite coffee shop experiences for you, no matter what caffeine craze you’re in the mood for!

1. Caffeine on Wheels – 83 Custom Coffee

83 Custom Coffee has quickly become a favorite of High Point locals and visitors alike! A coffee shop on wheels, this coffee truck offers delicious iced and hot coffee, warm pastries, and a unique experience, right on High Point’s Main Street! Although 83 Custom Coffee can get you a cup quick, if you’re in the mood to take a breather and sit down for a while, they offer outdoor and indoor seating as well.

2. Caffeine and Cozy – DeBeen Espresso

DeBeen Espresso is a High Point pillar, and if you’ve been to Market, you’re probably familiar with this little local gem. Inside are two different sitting areas, with everything from tables, to couches, to a window seat. They serve up favorites like their famous brown sugar latte, but also offer pastries, smoothies, and even locally brewed kombucha. If you need a break from the Market hustle to send some emails, unplug, or refresh, DeBeen has you covered.

3. Caffeine to take Home – FosterHobbs Coffee

FosterHobbs Coffee, started by a High Point local, is on a mission to provide the best cup of coffee possible. And they take it all the way down to their own process of importing, roasting, and bagging up coffee from all over the world. If you can’t get enough of their delicious coffee, you can grab a bag to take back home with you after Market is over!

4. Caffeine on the Go – Starbucks

2209 N. Main St.

Okay, so maybe it’s not original to High Point, but if you’re really in a hurry, Starbucks on North Main Street has opened a drive-thru! Sometimes, you just need to grab your Starbucks go-to drink in your car, and hurry to your next destination!

So whatever way you want to caffeinate, High Point has an option for you! So here’s to coffee: thanks for making days feel more doable, eyes feel brighter, and mornings a little easier!
