Brews, Bottles and Beers: Craft Beer Month is Here

April showers bring… craft beer! It’s Craft Beer Month, and of course you know at High Point Discovered, that’s something we’re happy to celebrate all year long. On our lineup today is a list of the best places to grab a beer in High Point. Make sure you visit each and every one of these places to celebrate this month in true brew style.

Liberty Brewery and Grill

Liberty is famous for its pre-Prohibition, eight-step brewing method, as well as having their own line of award-winning beers. All these delicious beers are brewed on-site at Liberty, so you know you’re getting a one-of-a-kind that’s fresh. They host Happy Hour every day from 4pm-6pm, as well as other weekly events and specials, like Burger and Brews Monday or live music on Thursdays. Check out their website for more info and check out their extensive menu that will make you not only hungry but thirsty – and Liberty has just the fix for both!

A long-standing favorite here at High Point Discovered, Brown Truck Brewery claims it serves beer for all walks of life. And it does. With a slew of awards for their exceptional brews, BTB has something everyone will love – like their Saison, an American-style India pale ale or their chocolate raspberry stout. Not to mention BTB has a great community atmosphere with outdoor seating, games, and great events each month from concerts to food trucks. It’s the best kind of way to experience a brew!

Goofy Foot Taproom

This taproom brings a West Coast vibe to High Point with their beers. Goofy Foot is famous for beers like the Carpetbagger. But they do so much more than just offer awesome drinks; they make sharing a pint together fun! With their live music, game nights, and even events with beer “tour guides” who walk you through brews, Goofy Foot is sure to be a favorite for you and your crew. And, this month they’re celebrating Craft Beer Month with “taproom takeovers” hosted by local North Carolina breweries!

Find them on Facebook to make sure you don’t miss an event at @Goofyfoottaproom.

Carrying both local and nationally produced microbeers, the Brewer’s Kettle has an extensive selection and the knowledgeable staff to help you select the perfect brew for your next event, party, or maybe just dinner.
