8 Places to Grab Breakfast in High Point

Whether you’re craving an old fashioned southern biscuit or a vegan cold pressed juice, High Point has a wide array of locally owned breakfast retreats.

Here is a list of a few of our favorite breakfast spots!

The Biscuit Factory is a quick and easy fix if you’re looking for a classic, buttery, homemade biscuit and to take your breakfast sandwich to the next level.  With a drive thru and build your own biscuit sandwich options, this is a great way to jumpstart the morning.  Local’s in town refer to this as BFAC (bee-fak).

If you’re looking to get your fruit and vegetable fix for the day, Organic AF juicer(y) features cold pressed juices and smoothies made in house!  This family owned juicer(y)’s mission is to use only the best organic fruits and vegetables.  A local favorite is the “Woke AF” cold pressed juice which has cold brewed coffee in it!

Maybe you’re in the mood for more of a sit down, pancakes and bacon kind of breakfast?   If so, look no further than Tom’s Place.  This 25 year old establishment in-grained in loyalty to their customer is a hot spot for breakfast. They serve a wide array of benedicts, omelets, and even quiche.  Also, did we mention breakfast is served all day?

To cure a sweet tooth, Granny’s Donuts has the answer.  This isn’t your typical doughnut shop since all doughnuts are homemade.  They serve all the classics like glazed and chocolate frosted, but if you’re feeling like trying something different, you can’t go wrong with the red velvet.

For good old American cuisine in a quaint diner setting, Alex’s House serves a great breakfast.  This old-school and local, sit-down restaurant may not have a menu online, but a picture is worth 1,000 words.  Their hash browns can’t be beat!

Debeen Espresso is a local’s secret for arguably the best cup of coffee!  With an eclectic atmosphere complete with local art, this is a great spot for a little morning relaxation or to grab a cup on the go.  On top of coffee, they serve baked goods, smoothies, and even gelato!  Not to mention, it’s only a 5 minute drive from the IHFC building!

Similarly, Spring Garden Bakery and Coffee House offers baked goods and vegan options!  Homemade croissants, berry scones, and muffins are just a sampling of their menu.

A local college student’s favorite for “NY style” bagels and breakfast sandwiches is The Salty Bagel & Donut Company.  Fresh bagels baked every morning, homemade cream cheese, and to die for breakfast sandwiches.

It might not be brick and mortar, but we think 83 Custom Coffee is just the right spot for these spring mornings! Be sure to check out their sweet and savory options of pastries like their new gruyere and prosciutto croissant or blueberry scones! Chef Steve has it going on.
