Sweet Josephine’s bakery is an absolute local favorite.  Starting as just a cupcake shop, they became so popular that they now offer cakes, cookies/brownies, and they always have vegan as well as gluten free options on hand!  We “hear” their homemade buttercream frosting paired with their “Plain Jane” classic white cake is delicious, wink, wink.

The Sweet Shoppe Bakery is a family owned bakery since 1946.  With baking as their “family tradition” they opened up after WWII and have always been located in High Point, NC.  They offer donuts, eclairs, cupcakes,  decorated cookies and their infamous decorated sheet cakes.  You name it, they bake it!

Love antiques & cake?  Then The Market is the place for you.  A local antique market showcasing art & one of a kind pieces, they also have an in-house bakery that leaves shoppers drooling in the back corner.  Their cakes are to die for and they feature flavors such as banana, caramel, and carrot cake.  Head on in to browse some antiques and grab a slice!

Granny’s Donuts & Bakery is a local favorite for all things baked goods.  They are infamous for their apple fritters!

If you like to think outside the box, The Tea Time Boba Tea Lounge may catch your eye.  As a local favorite, they serve rolled ice cream. Yes, you read that correctly.  They lay out freezing ice cream and hand roll it into beauitful, delectable treats that can be topped with candy, hot fudge, etc.  They also serve tea, macaroons, and much more.

Amoroso’s Bakery serves about every flavor or cake that you can imagine and they also bake cheesecakes from scratch.  The owner is from the New Jersey area originally so it’s safe to say that their New York cheesecake is heavenly.  On top of class flavors, they also feature an apple pie cheesecake – count us in!

If you’re in the mood for a time-honored Italian treat, look no further than the Cozy Cannoli.  Don’t let the adorable name fool you, this bakery doesn’t mess around.  Serving traditional cannolis, biscotti cookies, and pizelles there is sure to be something to satisfy your craving.  They are a small batch bakery, so check out their website and if you’re looking for something special, give them a call!

Enjoy discovering those sugar delights!
