5 Places to Discover Downtown

October 14, 2021

An image of downtown High Point with the words, "5 Downtown HP Spots" on it.

Downtown High Point has been seeing some MAJOR action these days! From splash pads to food halls, High Point has gone through quite a few changes in the last few months. If you’re in High Point for High Point Market (and maybe it’s been a while since you’ve been here!) you may be wondering what you most need to explore first. We have a list of some new downtown spots (as well as some favorites!) that you can enjoy in the downtown of the Home Furnishings Capital.

Unwind on Main

Unwind – right in the heart of downtown! With specialty cocktails, appetizers, treats, and live music, Unwind is a great downtown spot to make the most of Market.

Paddled South Brewing Co.

Get downtown and grab a brew, at High Point’s newest brewery! The perfect place to paddle – we mean, walk! – from your spot at HP Market.

Lil’s Coffee Bar

Coffee and collaboration – that’s what Lil’s Coffee Bar in Congdon Yards is serving up! Enjoy a cup of joe (or a glass of wine!) in the beautiful new coworking space that is Congdon Yards.

Gallery on Main

Want a little bit of artistic inspiration outside of the furniture world? Pop over to the Gallery on Main, HP’s new favorite artists’ community. With multiple art events this weekend, the team at GOM is putting even more creativity in our Creative City.

Penny Path Café

A fan favorite – Penny Path Café is serving up the crêpes you know and love! From breakfast to lunch to dessert, their delicious crêpes and coffee are a sure-fire way to make any Market day that much better!
